To Kill a Mockingbird

What was the reason WHY Dill and Jeremy BOTH wanted to touch the Radley place? Why did Scout think Jeremy was too scared to do it? Did Jeremy admit it himself? Did he doubt himself? Explain.

Boo is something of a local ghost story. The kids create a mythology around him that inspire their games and dares. This is why the challenge is to touch Boo's house. Jem refuses to be painted as a coward. He, of course, accepts the challenge to touch the house.

But why did they create a mythology 'round him?
