There are a few things that Scout might regret. Making fun of and pestering Boo Radley would be one of them. By the end of the novel, Scout understands what her father told her. Boo Radley had a right to his privacy. He didn't exist for children to mock. Contrary to the tall tales about him, Boo was a guardian angel of sorts. He was a caring man with a hard past only wanting to look out for children he cared about.
