What does Attitcus think was wrong with Mr. Ewell? What does Heck Tate think was wrong with Mr. Ewell? With whom do you agree and why?

Atticus thinks that Ewell was out of his mind.

“He was out of his mind,” said Atticus.

Heck Tate thinks Ewell was just a mean, drunken man.

“Don’t like to contradict you, Mr. Finch—wasn’t crazy, mean as hell. Low-down skunk with enough liquor in him to make him brave enough to kill children. He’d never have met you face to face.”

My opinion would be that Bob Ewell was a bit of both..... a crazy, mean, drunken man.
