The Missionary Society of Maycomb is a group of ladies who meet to discuss missions and gossip. Unfortunately, they are more concerned with discussing the plight of the Mruna people, a non-Christian group in Africa, than they are over the black community living in their own community. The ladies show a tremendous amount of hypocrisy and ignorance.
