what do jem and dill plan to do on dills last day I Maycomb

Jem and Dill want to sneak into the back yard of the Radley house and peak into the window. Jem just about gets a look through the window when old man Radley lets his shotgun off. Apparently he thinks there is a Negro or a racoon or.....a child lurking around(he had to get one right!)
