To Kill a Mockingbird

What are Jem and Scout's morals they learn from Atticus?

What can we learn from the lessons of moral stances in this novel? (besides doing the right thing)

They learn empathy. They learn to consider other people's points of view as well as not judge people so quickly. Consider how Atticus made Jem read to Mrs. Dubose. They learned that nasty old lady was actually sympathetic and heroic.
