in chapter 8 is it easy or difficult for jem and scout to change their apparent misconceptions about boo?

By chapter 8, Jem is maturing into a young man. He suspects it is Boo who puts the blanket on Scout. Jem begins to see Boo as a human being rather than a novelty.
