Your first query is largely a thematic one. You can consider social inequality, racism, good and evil.....all of these will be on the GradeSaver themes page.  Unfortunately our present society is still filled with social inequality and prejudice of all kinds. Although things are not as drastic for visible minorities as they were in the book, we still have a long way to go to achieve the kind of world that Atticus espoused.
