In Chapter Twenty-four, we see Aunt Alexandra's love and affection for her brother for the first time. She acknowledges being worried about him to Miss Maudie, and then picks herself up to continue as the hostess of the Missionary Society. Yes, we see her in a new light, as does Scout, who suddenly finds the thought of acting like a lady an attractive thought.
