To Kill a Mockingbird

How does scout/jem/dill apply the lesson of integrity later in the book?

I cant seem to find a certain interaction or desicion the children make using integrity.

Thank you!

There are many instances. Jem and Scout read to Mrs. Dubose even though she is nasty and mean to them. They finally understand what their father wanted them to. Both Scout and Jem are sympathetic to the plight of Tom Robinson even though people in the town harass them about it. Scout and Jem finally become sympathetic to Boo Radley.
