How does Atticus respond to Scout’s suggestion that he “lose no time in packing her (Calpurnia) off…”? Explain Atticus’ refusal to fire Calpurnia.

Atticus replies that,

‘Have you ever considered that Jem doesn’t worry her half as much?’ Atticus’s voice was flinty. ‘I’ve no intention of getting rid of her, now or ever’”

Atticus clearly values Calpurnia as a role model and caregiver for his kids. Atticus doesn't see skin colour, he sees the humanity in the person.
