Does Scout learn anything from overhearing Atticus's conversation with Uncle Jack? What might this be?

I think she learns that it isn't an easy thing being a parent. She learns Uncle Jack's feelings and where he is coming from. This falls in line with Atticus explaining that one must walk in or at least stand in another's shoes to see the truth.
