Atticus was the opposite of racist. As the novel progresses we see Scout develop a similar belief in human rights and respect. In her own way she begins to comprehend the cruelty and inequality thrust upon black people. I'm not sure what selection you mean by the second part.

NO . Scout Is not against blacks i know that because she always wants to know why they get treated so bad and why cant she play with them and during the Trail she was On Tom side a black man .
