Dill was a new kid who had come to stay with his aunt for the summer in Maycomb. He is unlike most boys that Scout has observed. Dill had an eccentric formality to him that caught Scout's attention. He had a sense of style that he was not aware of. He had a vivid imagination and a friendly demeanor.
