can you find evidence that jem is beginning to understand more than scout about boo radley? what do you thnik of this?

 This happens more and more throughout the novel. From the blanket being put on Scout the night of the fire, to Jem's trousers being hastily sewn up, to the gifts in the knothole: Jem begins to understand his "malevolent phantom" much better.
