Humans create society's laws, thus, it is humans who are responsible for adhering to and dispensing justice according to those laws. In To Kill a Mockingbird, we see a perfect example of people who do not believe that the same laws apply to all people..... thus, justice is not properly dispensed. The people of Maycomb County, and the prejudice that continues to permeate the community is responsible for Tom Robinson's conviction. According to the law, we all know that Atticus' representation proved his innocence..... without a doubt.
