5.What are your thoughts on how literature can provide a mirror of life into the lives of others?

Comment on the different forms that a story can take and what they each offer to a discerning reader.

Simply we can see ourselves in the characters of a story. The things they say, do, feel and think reflect shadows within ourselves. Atticus has been a hero of mine since I read Mockingbird when I was a kid. Although I fall far short of him, his character remains inspirational. I always thought that perhaps we have similarities that I can strive to live up to.
