To Kill a Mockingbird

1. Scout says that “Atticus was feeble” (118). Do you think that this is her view as she narrates or her view when she was younger? Why? Does she still think this after the events recorded in this chapter?

Scout sees her father as a man who is much older than the fathers of her friends. To her, he seems feeble. By the end of the chapter, however, Atticus' actions make him a hero in Scout's eyes..... a knight in shining armor.
