Atticus,
The Finch children consider their father "feeble" because he doesn't have a manly job like driving a truck and because he didn't want to play football against the Methodists. But Atticus is far from feeble. Later in chapter 10, he shoots Tim Johnson with one shot. The children learn that their "feeble" father was the best shot in the county in his younger days. They decide he is admirable after all.
Atticus Finch is the strongest character in the book. Not physically, but mentally and morally.
