Talk on how boo is treated by the society
The people of Maycomb have developed ridiculous stories about Arthur, just because he stays indoors, which is "not allowed" in Maycomb society. They say he eats squirrels and peeks into people's windows. They blame him for an early frost that kills the flowers. They say he stabbed his mother with scissors. Take a look at the first chapter where Jem fills Scout in on all the gossip. Later chapters detail the Radley family "game" that the kids act out.
