URGENT! ESSAY DUE TOMORROW!

ok so my teacher gave me this essay topic.
Discuss the author's descriptions of Maycomb. What is the town's role in the novel?

can anyone help me answer this???????????

Maycomb is a small town. it is full of prejudice. people are close-minded. they like routine. the same story could not take place in the north of the united states, where people were more "evolved" than in the south, like in Maycomb. people know each other, so everybody is more involved in the trial, because they all know Bob Ewell well.

good luck for your essay, but i'm finding it strange you have school on january 3th...
