The men initially begin to make plans for their trip, thinking about their route and the beauty of nature..... speaking to the fact that it will be do wonderful to get away. They do briefly, however, deviate from the beauty of nature to discuss what will happen if nature doesn't go their way. The topic of rain is addressed by Harris, who always seems to expect a fly to appear in the ointment. As a result of Harris' worries, the topic quickly changes to that of hotels.
