The dog's body language tells us he is not excited about the prospect of a trip down the Thames.

The only one who was not struck with the suggestion was Montmorency. He never did care for the river, did Montmorency.

As all the three friends decide to take a recreational trip down the river thames, J and montmorency are not convinced of the idea and J says that you actually enjoy a boat trip when the trip is actually over. but george and harris finally convince him as they are quite excited of the prospect. so it was a three against one. the one being montmorency.
