In Chapter 13, Okonkwo accidentally kills Ezeudu's son. How are the ramifications of this boy's death different from those of Ikemefuna's killing?

Ikemefuna's death was ordered, although, Okonkwo was warned not to take part. The death of Ezeudu's son was an accident, but seen as a punishment by the earth goddess..... a punishment that left him exiled from his home.
