As the main character’s fictional journal, The Yellow Wallpaper is told in strict first-person narration, through the narrator's journal. The narrator's journal focuses mainly on her own thoughts and feelings, which is a true journey, as we're there to experience the things she sees, as well as her eventual descent into insanity.
