The Yellow Wallpaper

How does the story’s narrative form contribute to the development of the narrator’s point of view?

I'm confused on what to answer.

I think that the first person narrative lends itself nicely to the events told as the narrator sees them without the use of flashbacks or alternate settings. The reader experiences what the narrator does and becomes a part of her stream-of-conscious writing style.
