Does any one person bear responsibility for the narrator's ultimate madness? if so, who? If not, what or what combination of factors result in her descent?

In my opinion, anyone who took part in the narrator's isolation in a room she repeatedly requested to be freed from should be held accountable for her descent into madness. No one person holds the blame alone.
