How did the travelers go back to the Emerald City?

Chapter? In the end of the novel, The Wizard of Oz, the travelers do not end up in the Emerald City. Dorothy searches for Glinda in the country of Quadlings, and Glinda tells Dorothy how to get home. The others, however, are carried back to the Emerald City by the monkeys.
