There are many instances of suspense in this chapter. Turtle posts a sign in the elevator saying that she is the bomber however she is not the burglar or the murderer. Chris shows the judge a flock of geese flying overhead. This causes the judge to her papers. She realizes that the wax figure resembles Westing from fifteen years ago. She decides that Westing is actually in When she picks them up, she realizes that the wax figure looked like a picture of Westing from fifteen years ago: She thinks that Westing is actually in disguise.
