Why do you think Mr. Ross chose such a dramatic way to end the Wave?

Mr. Ross needed to make a dramatic end to the experiment in order to teach the students the full lesson..... to make them understand and recognize facism for what it is. Seeing Hitler and how easily people were led through experience...... will hopefully make these students aware of facism's dangers.
