Mr. Ross' main concern was engaging his students..... his initial reason for beginning the experiment was to pique their curiousity and make them ask questions. The experiment itself, mirrored the way young German students were inducted into the Hitler youth and illustrated how far people will go in order to "belong".... to be a part of something.
