Mr. Ross wanted his class to attain knowledge through personal experience. He wanted them to personally experience the good and the bad. He believes the children lack in organizational skills, and yet, he also wants them to learn that organization does not mean personal freedom. Through this experiment, Mr. Ross wants the students to accurately and thoughtfully answer their own declaration at the beginning of the unit..... that they would never have allowed the Holocaust to happen if they had lived in Nazi Germany.
