what is the difference between adults and teenagers in the novel? are teenagers more vulnerable to the wave because they are young?

I think the teens are more impressionable and naive than the adults. Mr. Ross's social experiment makes most adults uncomfortable. Most of the teens are seduced by it: they follow along and get wrapped up in it.
