In what way did most of Mr. Ross’ students react to the film?

The only characters we have access to are Laurie, and Laurie’s boyfriend David. These characters are the most upset by the Nazi movie. The other students seem to simply go about heir teenage lives. Later the class loner Robert Billings gets right into it because he finds an identity.
