The experiment Mr. Ross initiates is meant to show his students what life was like under the Nazis. Over the course of the experiment, he introduces various concepts that were used by Hitler. When he decides the time has come to end the experiment, he holds a rally, showing actual footage of Hitler. He explains that Hitler is their leader, and that they would all have made good Nazis if they had lived in the 1930s. Mr. Ross urges them to think critically, and he encourages them to stand up for themselves...... to avoid submitting mindlessly to the group.
