I just need a bit of help trying to figure the novel's climax, I found the book a tad confusing and I just haven't been able to analyse as I usually would, thank you in advance for your help!

I would say the climax would be Rodwell's suicide after he is forced to watch the torture of a cat by his comrades. He leaves a heart wrenching letter for Robert to deliver to his daughter.
