Mc.Ginty allowed Ettie to choose her love but she was scared of Baldwin so , the Shafter family was scared because they had fear that what if anyone of them got murdered. In case Mc.Ginty was rulin over them, it was that Baldwin does not say Mc.Ginty to harm Shafter family.
