There are many conflicts in this plot. Certainly the idea of voyeurism through reality shows presents many social and ethical conflicts for the people watching the show, for the unwitting Truman, as well as the cast involved with him. Are Truman's experiences authentic or merely contrived to bring in viewers? Is Truman himself being exploited and abused. Do people have the right to tune into this Truman's constant manipulation by the writers and advertisers. These are some of the major conflicts and themes that you might consider.
