How are we all like Truman?

We certainly have gotten used to our routines in mind numbing suburbia. We cling to these routines and strive for happiness: as if happiness can be some kind of state of perpetual being. We easily buy into the status quo that is handed down to us by the marketing machinery who give us our identities. We freely embrace what they sell us because we believe things give us meaning. Hope that's a start.
