The Things They Carried

What different meanings of the word "home" are suggested at different times in The Things They Carried?

Are there any quotes or pages from the book that talk about the meaning of the word "home"?

Love, longing, memories, emotional ties.... I will look to see if I can find you some quotes to go along with the feelings that defines home for the men.

Memories of the way the girls were back home; innocence and beauty.

"The way she looked, Mary Anne made you think about those girls back home, how clean and innocent they all are, how they'll never understand any of this, not in a billion years. Try to tell them about it, they'll just stare at you with those big round candy eyes. They won't understand zip. It's like trying to tell somebody what chocolate tastes like."
