The Stud Summary

The Stud Summary

Meet Fontaine Khaled. Her husband is a very wealthy businessman named Benjamin Khaled. Together they are a power couple, but after a while of watching her husband's success from the sidelines, Fontaine decides to open Hobo, a nightclub of her own invention, all her own. Using their lavish wealth, she opens the club and decorates it with Benjamin's money. He views it as an investment, and she uses it as an opportunity to flaunt her money.

She is something like a pimp in her club. She hires Tony Blake, but only on the condition that he will be her lover. He agrees, but she is domineering and humiliating. Tony can't help but notice other women from Fontaine's posse. He likes her step-daughter a lot more than he likes Fontaine, and he starts to pursue Alexandra.

We learn that Alexandra is even more manipulative than her step-mother. In fact, she is downright cruel. Seeing Tony's advances, she decides to lead him on as a way of making her real romantic target jealous. She plans to reject Tony right at the finish line, and humiliate him by picking someone whom she is more attracted to. Meanwhile, Tony is attempting to use Fontaine's money and business model as a way of purchasing his own club in her name; she is uninvolved with the business side, so he seems to be getting away with it.

Benjamin realizes that his wife is up to no good at the club. He asks around and discovers that she has taken multiple lovers and wastes his money as a demonstration of her own power. He decides, in that case, he'd like a lover for himself too. He picks Dolores, a super model, and he confronts his wife. She learns in one day that her funds have been used to set up a new club without her knowledge, without involving her at all in the new club's management, and that she is now getting a divorce from her husband. She decides to do everything she can to get revenge.
