Why Helen's parents took her to Baltimore, how did Helen feel about the trip?

In the summer of 1886, Helen's parents took her to a famous eye doctor in Baltimore. Dr. Chisholm coud not help her but he does refer her to Dr. Alexander Graham Bell who she adored. Helen enjoyed everything about the trip.
