Common, average; possessed of the dullness of everyday experience.

picturesque

Visually beautiful; scenic.

guileless

Naive and innocent.

luminous

Brightly shining and shimmery.

equivocal

Ambigious and rather vague in specifics of meaning.

umbrage

Stirred up by taking offense.

disdainfully

Scornfully or derisively.

unwonted

Unaccustomed or unusual.

infernal

Malevolent and wicked or at least seeming so.

rapacious

Greedy and predatory.
