How would u describe Lily as a person?

Lily is young, confused, and determined. She doesn't know how to handle life with her father, and yearns for information about her mother. While staying at the Boatwrights, we see a young lady who wants nothing more than to be loved. August provides her with that love unconditionally.... as well as advice, and eventually.... information about her mother as well. Lily blossoms under the Boatwright's care.
