What favors does Chillingworth feel he has done for Dimmesdale?

Chillingworth feels that he's done Dimmesdale a favor by keeping his secret, all while helping him to take care of his health and eliminating the symptoms of his illness. Unfortunately, he also feeds the man's guilt as often as possible.
