Pearl is the epitome of the wild child, she fits into the forest and blends in with the nature around her. While Dimmesdale and hester speak of the past and future in the forest, Pearl is able to watch and take it all in from the distance. She blends in and her presence doesn;t inhibit the actions of those around her.
