Hester is released from prison. Why doesn't she run away to a different settlement?

Really there is nowhere to go. She is a single woman with little or no money. Her major concern was Pearl. Even shamed, Hester could support herself and Pearl in the village. Hester also loved Dimmesdale and didn't want to leave him.
