Rhetorical Devices within Scarlet Letter

could some people please help me out with this one and cite some examples of when rhetorical devices are used by Hawthorne in this novel. Please and thank you

Any scene where a debate takes place includes some nice rhetoric. These would include the townspeople discussing Hester's sin early in the novel, or any of the speeches/sermons that Dimmesdale gives.
