how does Paul learn the great importance of money

I'm sorry, I'm not sure which section your question pertains to because The Rocking Horse Winner is a short-story.... there are no chapter numbers. Paul, however, learns a lot about the importance of money from his parents.... particularly his mother, who he hopes to make happy. For Paul's mother, money is everything..... at least the way Paul interprets her words and actions.
