Two separate instances of the same literary device are contained in lines 170-171: “Almost upon the western wave / Rested the broad bright sun.” (Pg. 17) What literary device is used?

In both instances, these lines refer to the sunset. The literary device would be personification.... the sun is resting its head upon the wave.
